Week 8 Prediction Results

By Inside Edge Editorial · Graded against the lines published Oct. 28, 2026

Last week we published 15 player insights for Week 8. Here is every one of them, hit or miss, next to what the player actually did.

The scorecard

9 of 15 insights finished on the right side of their lines (60%). By group: quarterbacks 3 of 5, pass catchers 2 of 5, running backs 4 of 5.

Two hits cleared their lines by half a unit: Bryce Young finished with 23 completions against 22.5, and Tetairoa McMillan with 6 receptions against 5.5. The biggest hits were Tony Pollard (117 rushing yards against 61.5) and Bhayshul Tuten (104 against 61.5).

Two misses came from Baltimore's quarterback injuries. Lamar Jackson left the Ravens' first offensive play with a thumb injury and never threw a pass, so his Over 237.5 passing yards finished at zero, and Zay Flowers was targeted five times without a catch. We counted both as misses. Others were not close, including MarShawn Lloyd (7 rushing yards against 16.5) and Daniel Jones (144 passing yards against 186.5).

Each row shows the line published on Oct. 28, the insight, and what the player actually did in Week 8. Nothing was changed after kickoff.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are these results graded?

Each Week 8 insight was published on Oct. 28, 2026 with a consensus line and a direction, Over or Under. A result is a hit if the player's Week 8 total finished on that side of the line. A total exactly on the line would be a push, and there were none. A player who left the game early is graded on the total he recorded, which turned two insights into misses this week.

Where do the Week 8 numbers come from?

The actual totals come from Inside Edge's Remarkable engine and cover the Week 8 games played Oct. 29 through Nov. 2, 2026. The detail that Lamar Jackson left on the Ravens' first offensive play, and that Zay Flowers was targeted five times without a catch, comes from published game coverage.

Is this a record of winning bets?

No. This is a scorecard of statistical insights against published lines, not a betting record. It does not account for odds, stakes or line movement, and results over one week are a small sample.
